See below for advising contact info.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading size-h3\" id=\"h-process-to-declare-the-major\">Process to Declare the Major<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The first step to declare a minor in conservation and environmental sciences by clicking the <em>Declare the Major<\/em> button below and filling out the form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you would like an advising session, email the CES Director (<a href=\"mailto:young3@uwm.edu\"><strong>young3@uwm.edu<\/strong><\/a>) and schedule an appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Print an unofficial transcript. To do so:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/paws\">PAWS<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the yellow <em>51ÁÔÆæ<\/em> header, click in the drop-down menu and select <em>Transcript: View Unofficial<\/em>, then click the yellow arrow button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <em>Undergraduate<\/em> or <em>Graduate Transcript <\/em>and default <em>Output Destination Type (email)<\/em>, then click the <em>Submit Transcript Request<\/em> button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A PDF copy will be delivered to your 51ÁÔÆæ email address immediately<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At that appointment, the Director will be able to answer your preliminary questions about the major.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You, in turn, will be asked about your background, your current interests, and your long-range plans, so that you may be assigned a departmental faculty advisor qualified to help you create a fulfilling program appropriate to your interests and goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-u-flex uwm-u-flex--wrap uwm-u-flex--left\">\n<a class=\"uwm-c-button uwm-c-button--black uwm-u-mr-20 uwm-u-mb-20\" href=\"https:\/\/ls-apps.ad.uwm.edu\/secure\/declaration\/major\/prod\/index.php?departmentFilter=conservation-environmental-science\" rel=\"\">Declare the Major<\/a>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When to Declare: Process to Declare the Major<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1272,"featured_media":0,"parent":7433,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","uwm_wg_additional_authors":[]},"class_list":["post-7450","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v27.3 (Yoast SEO v27.3) -
