You\u2019ll need this number to activate your student accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-activate-your-epanther-account\">Activate your ePanther Account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll need your ePanther account activated to log in to all of your 51ÁÔÆæ student accounts. To start this process, visit: <a href=\"https:\/\/account.uwm.edu\/public\/activate\">https:\/\/account.uwm.edu\/public\/activate<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-set-up-your-email-amp-multi-factor-authentication\">Set up your Email &amp; Multi-Factor Authentication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s important to check your 51ÁÔÆæ email on a regular basis (<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/office365\/\">https:\/\/uwm.edu\/office365\/<\/a>). Log in using your ePanther ID and password. For security reasons, our campus uses multi-factor authentication (MFA) for the ePanther ID verification. It will show up as a \u201cHold\u201d on the right-hand side of your student account. More info at <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/finances\/finances\/university-terms-and-conditions-agreement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/uwm.edu\/finances\/finances\/university-terms-and-conditions-agreement\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-plan-your-schedule\">Plan your Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the Schedule of Classes (<a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.uwm.edu\/course-search\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/catalog.uwm.edu\/course-search\/<\/a>) is the best way to search for course offerings each term. Check with your advisor if you have questions about your course options and graduation plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sign-up-for-classes\">Sign up for Classes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll register for classes through PAWS (<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/paws\/\">https:\/\/uwm.edu\/paws\/<\/a>). First, add classes to your shopping cart, then \u2018finish enrollment\u2019 to officially register. Monitor your 51ÁÔÆæ student accounts for updates regarding your financial aid offers and acceptance details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-military-and-veteran-student-information-uw-milwaukee-veterans\">Military and Veteran Student Information | UW-Milwaukee Veterans<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit the 51ÁÔÆæ Military and Veterans website (<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/military-veterans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/uwm.edu\/military-veterans\/<\/a>) for information about MEBO (Military Education Benefits Office) and support for veterans through MAVRC (Military and Veterans Resource Center)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-log-in-to-canvas\">Log in to Canvas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Canvas is the 51ÁÔÆæ web-based learning environment. All 51ÁÔÆæ courses (online and onsite) in which you are enrolled should appear in Canvas by the first day of the term. Access Canvas via the 51ÁÔÆæ Homepage, or by going directly to 51ÁÔÆæ Canvas Site (<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/canvas\/home\/\">https:\/\/uwm.edu\/canvas\/home\/<\/a>). To log in to Canvas, you need to know your ePanther ID and Password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-get-your-student-id-card\">Get your Student ID Card<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your PantherCard is your official 51ÁÔÆæ identification card and is an essential part of accessing services throughout the University. All enrolled Students are eligible for a PantherCard and new students can submit ID photos online \u2013 check the full details at <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/retailservices\/panthercard\/\">https:\/\/uwm.edu\/retailservices\/panthercard\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-get-your-textbooks\">Get your textbooks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Required texts for each class are listed in the syllabus (found in Canvas before the start of each semester). Books can be purchased online at the 51ÁÔÆæ Campus Virtual Bookstore at 51ÁÔÆæ Virtual Bookstore (<a href=\"http:\/\/panthershopuwm.com\/shop-by-course\">http:\/\/panthershopuwm.com\/shop-by-course<\/a>). Outside sources may also be used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pay-your-tuition\">Pay your tuition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuition and fees are due on the date indicated on your PAWS account. Eligible students who wish to participate in the tuition installment payment plan must pay at least $100.00 toward tuition charges by the tuition due date.
