The CCEP Research Synergies Working Group invites colleagues to participate in the Spring 2026 Faculty & Staff Writing Group/Set Aside Time. The purpose of these optional events is to have dedicated writing time to work on manuscripts, grant applications, etc. Research Subgroup members will open the sessions. In opening these events, the facilitators may briefly ask those in attendance what they plan to work on during the time, plus do an optional check-in at the end.

The College of Community Engagement & Professions (CCEP) invites all eligible Helen Bader School of Social Welfare (HBSSW), School of Education (SOE) and School of Information Studies (SOIS) Spring and Summer graduates to the Spring 2026 Recognition Ceremony. We will celebrate your achievements and honor all graduates.

Schedule and Additional Event Info
During the ceremony, graduates will be invited to the stage for recognition and may share a few words of gratitude if they wish.
Business casual attire is recommended—caps and gowns are not required.

Doors open at 5:45 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 6:00 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served.

Registration is required, but there are no physical tickets.
Additional Honorees and Cords
Honors students, veterans, and Beta Phi Mu members will receive an additional cord that can be picked up during the recognition ceremony.
Cords will be distributed at check-in.

If you are unable to attend the ceremony and would like to pick up your cord, please email ccep-rec@uwm.edu.

The ceremony is for all Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral Candidates. All students who have applied for graduation before the stated deadline will be able to obtain tickets for their guests to attend the 51ÁÔÆæ Commencement Ceremony at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
