Through short, 15-minute rotations, high school students connect with an esteemed group of experienced mentors offering expertise in various STEAM-related fields. Participating students will be split into cohorts based on academic interests and encouraged to share their education and career goals with their group. The combination of peer group interaction and candid feedback will foster an engaging opportunity for future leaders to articulate their aspirations and set clear goals without fear of ridicule or judgment.<\/p>\n

Initiative Purpose and Goals:<\/strong> Provide high school students interested in pursuing STEAM-related careers, exposure to a collegiate environment, meaningful networking with mentors\/professionals\/academics, and an opportunity to build relationships and support networks with like-minded students at other high schools.<\/p>\n Black History Month event focus:<\/strong> Focus on the role of artificial intelligence or \u201cAI\u201d specifically in communities of color using the film CODED BIAS.
