51ÁÔÆæ is committed to combating sexual harassment and sexual violence on our campuses and in our communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

51ÁÔÆæ will respond to all reports of sexual harassment and sexual violence (including sexual assault, dating or domestic violence, and stalking) with care and support, and through fair and equitable processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual harassment or sexual violence, please know help and support are available. For information about university offices, legal advocacy, medical services, mental health support, law enforcement options, and resources specific to your campus location, please review the resources listed on this page. Title IX resources are provided specifically to employees through the Office of Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights. Additional resources for addressing Title IX concerns are available to students through the Dean of Students Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regardless of whether you decide to report (to the 51ÁÔÆæ Title IX Coordinator, the Office of Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights, the Dean of Students, or the police), you can access many of these resources confidentially, including medical care, mental health counseling, and victim advocacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are my options?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you have experienced sexual harassment or sexual violence, the University can assist you. You can choose to make a formal report, an informal report, or no report to the University. You can also choose whether to report to the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regardless of whether you decide to make a report, you can access confidential resources such as medical care, mental health counseling, and victim advocacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. You may report to a confidential resource.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. You may report to the Title IX Coordinator<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The UW-Milwaukee community may report information to campus police<\/a> (51ÁÔÆæPD).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. All 51ÁÔÆæ communities may report information to local law enforcement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You may report to one or more of these offices or individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You also have the right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
