He can repair and construct all types of custom scientific glassware, predominately working with Pyrex (borosilicate) and clear fused quartz with specialties of high vacuum systems, distillation, and biological anaerobic systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also teaches practical scientific glassblowing skills offered in a spring semester graduate-level course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neal also works with individuals or or companies outside of the UW system. I can create one-of-a-kind prototypes for a wide range of needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fabrication of Standard Items: Anything you can find in a catalog or online I can create. Contact me for a free quote on standard items up to 22 liters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repair and Modification of Glassware: Sometimes it is more economical to repair a piece rather than buying new. If you have glassware that needs fixing send me a photo and I can tell you if it\u2019s worth fixing verses buying new.
