Last fall, 51ÁÔÆæ welcomed its largest freshman class since 2011 and marked Chancellor Gibson\u2019s first semester leading 51ÁÔÆæ. In December, he presided over his first 51ÁÔÆæ commencement, where more than 1,500 graduates crossed the stage in front of proud families and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We begin 2026 being&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/72l2dj\/n3km6db\/7urdst\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">recognized for the third time<\/a>&nbsp;for outstanding community engagement, and are one of only 32 universities nationwide distinguished for high access, community involvement and research excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s to building on this momentum and making 2026 another remarkable year for 51ÁÔÆæ and our Panther community!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee: Top Moments of 2025\" width=\"1400\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XpwWAa3PMbM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
