51ÁÔÆæ

With Gratitude and Confidence in 51ÁÔÆæ’s Future

Dear Friends,

As I conclude my time leading the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I offer my heartfelt thanks for your generous support and enthusiasm for 51ÁÔÆæ over the years.

Your commitment has helped transform lives, open doors and strengthen our university’s role as a powerful force in providing access to education, life-changing research, and deep community impact. I’ve been honored to serve this institution for the past 11 years, and I’m deeply grateful for the role you’ve played in our shared success.

While this is a farewell, it is also a moment of great optimism. Dr. Thomas Gibson, who begins his tenure as 51ÁÔÆæ’s tenth chancellor on July 14, brings a sincere passion for student success, a strong commitment to research, and a desire to further our community partnerships. I have every confidence that he will lead this university with distinction and heart.

Thank you again for being part of this journey. Your support has made a lasting difference—and it will continue to shape the future of 51ÁÔÆæ for generations to come.

With deep appreciation and Panther pride,

Mark A. Mone, PhD
