<\/iframe><br>Cail\u00edn Nic an tSionnaigh (UW-Milwaukee) and Cl\u00edodhna N\u00ed Chorr\u00e1in (University of Notre Dame) were 2022-23 Fulbright FLTAs and Irish Language Instructors, both from the North of Ireland. This colloquium talk about language revitalization and preservation through the persistence of An Dream Dearg and the Acht Gaeilge movement examined some difficulties of nationalism and language policy, as well as some grassroots political questions and impact of Irish (Gaeilge) on the culture of the North of Ireland.
