Demonstrating how \u201cfoodways\u201d\u2014food availability, choice, and consumption\u2014vary greatly between classes of African Americans in Jackson, Mississippi, Ewoodzie offers new insights into the lives of Black Southerners and helps challenge the persistent homogenization of blackness in American life.<\/p>\n<p>Join us for a Zoom lecture session that promises to reveal the complexities of the phrase &#8220;you are what you eat.&#8221;
