Story facilitators connected with a wide range of communities through the Center\u2019s mobile Story Cart to understand how people across diverse backgrounds experienced civic engagement.\u00a0<em>Story Cart: Trust and the Vote<\/em>\u00a0features select interviews, images, and other memoranda documenting these exchanges that reflect Milwaukee County\u2019s collective hopes, doubts, and ideas for transforming democracy.\u202f<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col uwm-l-col--4\">\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/c21\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/359\/2024\/08\/Vote-SC-Magenta-e1724031921854.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11686\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The collected stories in this exhibition were made possible through community collaborations with Milwaukee Public Libraries, Milwaukee Turners, the League of Women Voters, 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s Children\u2019s Learning Center, DoSomething, and 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s Peck School of the Arts design instructors and students.\u202f\u202fSpecial thanks to the 2024 Story Cart Fellows and C21\u2019s 2024-2025 Graduate Fellows, who conducted, recorded, and edited the interviews.
