It is time to enrich the experiences and knowledge you&#8217;ve gained during the first two years as a Lubar student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"size-p-lg\">The following should be completed by the end of your junior year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-academic-advising\">Academic Advising<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meet with you Academic Advisor to confirm you have been advanced to your major. Lubar Hall N297, 414-229-5271\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plan your semester and discuss your timeline for graduation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review the number of credits remaining for any majors, minors or certificates, etc. and any prerequisites that may affect the sequencing of your classes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check your progress by answering the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have you taken or are you enrolled in the 300-level core course in your intended major?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What major electives\/courses are you going to take for your major?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you want to double major or add a certificate to your degree plan?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What internship opportunities have you found that provide career-related experience?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Know your program&#8217;s requirements.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Track your progress by reviewing your academic requirements in PAWS, located in the dropdown menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor your PAWS account and email daily through Office 365.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Watch for important emails from the Lubar School and 51ÁÔÆæ.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure your finances are in order.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check into <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/cost-aid\/\">Financial Aid<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay tuition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply for scholarships\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/business\/students\/scholarships\/\">Lubar College Scholarships<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/finances\/scholarships\/\">51ÁÔÆæ Scholarships<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use this website for Student Service resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If interested, begin to research graduate and professional schools with the Graduate Program Services office. <a href=\"mailto:mba-ms@uwm.edu\">mba-ms@uwm.edu<\/a>, 414-251-5252\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review GPA and other standardized test requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn what personal statements and other application essays require and how to write them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-career-advising\">Career Advising<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meet with your Career Advisor to develop plans for your professional internship.
