If you are ever&nbsp;under&nbsp;a time constraint, we recommend calling well ahead or that you use another method of transportation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If there is a long wait for B.O.S.S., please consider using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ridemcts.com\/trip-planner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MCTS<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/transportation\/prowllinemap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Prowl Line<\/a> if either is an option. Use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/dir\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Maps<\/a> to input your location and destination, then choose the bus icon. Remember that this is a non-guaranteed estimate, and may change depending on the addition of rider requests into the driver&#8217;s queue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If TransLoc is used, a notification will be sent to your device once the driver has arrived. Please pay attention to your device or watch for your ride <strong>from the time it is placed<\/strong>&nbsp;until it arrives. In order to maximize efficiency, your ride&nbsp;may show up before your wait estimate is reached.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>B.O.S.S. will not wait more than four&nbsp;minutes at your pick up location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Missing your ride or repeat cancellations may affect your ability to ride for the remainder of the evening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div class=\"uwm-c-list--content-wrap\"><h2>Present your PantherCard to the driver<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Since B.O.S.S. is funded solely through student segregated fees as part of their tuition,&nbsp;B.O.S.S. can only be used by current 51ÁÔÆæ students who are assessed student segregated fees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current students with a valid 51ÁÔÆæ PantherCard are allowed to bring 1 guest each. The student is responsible for the guest&#8217;s behavior and well-being while using the service. Any violation of B.O.S.S. or University policies including applicable laws may result in denial of service for the student, guest, or both.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-plan-your-ride-union-pickup-and-rider-guidelines\">Plan your ride: Union pickup and rider guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-at-the-uwm-union\"><strong>At the 51ÁÔÆæ Union?<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students looking to ride from the 51ÁÔÆæ Union can check in at our office location in Room WG25 of the Union (Transportation Services office). If the Union is closed, you can call or book via the TransLoc app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-keep-in-mind\">Keep in Mind&#8230;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>B.O.S.S. reserves the right to refuse service in the case of inappropriate requests, or if the request is out of the scope of our mission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>B.O.S.S. reserves the right to refuse rides to locations suspected of dangerous or inappropriate behavior.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drivers have a direct connection to the 51ÁÔÆæ Police Department and will request help in the case of inappropriate, dangerous, or emergency situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The need for professional cleaning of a vehicle due to bio-hazardous or excessive waste will result in a $150 fee charged to the rider.
