As one of the fastest-growing fields in the life sciences, neuroscience integrates biology, psychology, chemistry, physics, and computation to understand how neural systems work and how their dysfunction leads to neurological and psychiatric disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Neuroscience major is listed under both the&nbsp;Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences. The requirements are the same in both listings. The Biological Sciences Department provides students with a strong foundation in core biological principles while offering specialized training in the structure, function, and development of the nervous system.
