Biologists analyze organism functions at the cellular and molecular levels using genetics, biochemistry, and microscopy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also study interactions between organisms and the environment by examining behavior, morphology, physiology, and genetics. 51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s nationally and internationally recognized faculty train students in a wide range of research areas. Student training is focused on research design, critical analysis of data, and development of effective written and oral communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"default\">Research is a defining feature of the department and is fully integrated into our teaching mission.
