Since 1992 he has produced thousands of illustrations\, hand silkscreened prints\, and posters for a long list of bands and clients including The Black Keys\, Iron and Wine\, Low\, Orville Peck\, Lollapalooza\, Built to Spill\, Sturgill Simpson\, Ween\, The Decemberists\, and many more.  His studio and shop is called Ground Up Press. \n\n\n\nThroughout the fall and spring semesters\, the Artists Now! Guest Lecture Series welcomes a diverse group of nationally and internationally recognized artists working across traditional\, hybrid and emergent disciplines. DESCRIPTION:Date & TimeNovember 6–20\, 2025Wednesday–Fridays (2–7 p.m.)\, Saturdays (11 a.m.–3 p.m.)Reception: Thursday\, November 13 (4–6 p.m.) \n\n \n\nLocationKenilworth Square East\, 3rd Floor Gallery \n\n\n \nWorlds Within: Midwestern Microcultures is a photography exhibition curated by Peck School of the Arts Advanced Photography Students currently enrolled in ART 452: Contemporary Issues in Photography. \n \nWe invite photographers to submit work for Worlds Within: Midwestern Microcultures\, an exhibition exploring the rich diversity of communities\, traditions\, and shared identities that shape life in the Midwest.  \n \nA microculture can be defined as a smaller\, distinct cultural group that exists within a larger community. These groups often form around shared values\, traditions\, movements\, or ways of life. From grassroots organizations and neighborhood gatherings to family traditions and personal rituals\, microcultures reveal the deeper layers of belonging and connection that often go unnoticed.   \n \nWe encourage you to consider: How do you best represent your microculture? What objects\, symbols\, or moments speak to the heart of your community? This exhibition seeks to highlight the unique and overlapping microcultures that make the Midwest a region of depth\, resilience\, and complexity.

She is the Crown Family Professor of Art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she has taught since 1996. Her work is in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago\, Walker Art Center\, Museum of Contemporary Art\, Chicago\, MUDAM – Musée d’Art Moderne Luxembourg\, and the Milwaukee Art Museum\, among others. Grabner\, along with artist Brad Killam\, runs the artist-run project spaces The Suburban (Milwaukee\, est. 1999)\, and The Poor Farm\, (Little Wolf\, WI\, est. 2008). Grabner is a recipient of the 2025 Mary L. Nohl Fund Fellowships for Individual Artists. \nThroughout the fall and spring semesters\, the Artists Now! DESCRIPTION:Date & TimeWednesday\, November 19\, 2025 (7:30–9 p.m.) \n\n\nLocationVirtual \n\n\nXuan Ye works across art\, music\, and technology. Often through improvisation\, computation\, and fiction\, Xuan composes software\, images\, installations\, performances\, editions\, and pedagogical experiments. Xuan makes noise as a generative space to evoke the dissonant\, untranslatable\, and illegible pulses and pauses that make meaning stutter\, systems tremble. Their work has appeared at the MOCA Toronto\, UCCA Center for Contemporary Art (Shanghai)\, UQAM (Montreal)\, Venice Architecture Biennale (2021)\, Peer to Space (Berlin)\,  MUTEK (Montreal)\,  Vivid Projects (Birmingham)\, and Goethe-Institut (Beijing)\, among others. \nThroughout the fall and spring semesters\, the Artists Now! The exhibition explores how digital tools in the hands of artists can become forming\, mediating\, and disrupting to our perceptions\, redefining or views on intimacy\, autonomy\, and collective agency. Through immersive multimedia installations and experimental technology art\, artists articulate futures that challenge the dominance of algorithmic systems\, proposing new modes of connection\, resistance\, and creation in a world increasingly entangled with machines.
