At 6:00 p.m.\, there will be Korean food tastings\, writing name in Korean and traditional Korean games. Admission is free. \n \nThe main event of the 2025 Milwaukee Korea Day Celebration will be the Korea Day Concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts. \n \nThe 51 Symphony Orchestra\, conducted by Prof. Jun Kim\, will open the program with Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Overture and Debussy’s Petite Suite. \n \nThis year’s guest soloist is violinist YooJin Jang\, winner of the 2017 Concert Artists Guild Competition\, First Prize at the 2016 Sendai International Violin Competition\, and Second Prize at the Michael Hill International Violin Competition. Ever since she was a young girl\, she’s admired her culture. She creates Alebrijes made of “cartoneria\,” a unique and traditional papier-mâché technique from Mexico City.
