Jill uses the pin as a messaging device to convey ideas\, make statements\, and construct narratives. This is an exhibition and archiving project featuring pins mined from her personal collection accumulated over a lifetime of work in the political and legal landscape in the US. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExhibition | October 24–December 2\n\n\n\nThe exhibition also features emerging and established artists and jewelers\, 51ÁÔÆæ Jewelry & Metalsmithing students who have created artwork that acts as messaging devices and inspired by items from the Special Collections. Curated by Erica Meier with Ana Hansa-Ogren and Max Yela. He received a BFA from UW-Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts in 2018. Nicholas makes figurative paintings that draw on art-historical influences\, personal photography\, and other visual languages. Perry is a recipient of the 2024 Mary L. Nohl Fund Fellowships for Individual Artists. \n\n\n\nThroughout the fall and spring semesters\, the Artists Now! Guest Lecture Series welcomes a diverse group of nationally and internationally recognized artists working across traditional\, hybrid and emergent disciplines.
