Start at\u00a0Notetakers<\/a>\u00a0on ARC\u2019s main website page.<\/strong> You can also request a notetaking assignment using the link in the sidebar on the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on the \u201cRequest Notetaking Assignment<\/strong>\u201d button and log into ARConnect with your ePanther ID and password.<\/li>
  2. Enter the information for the course in which you are available to volunteer as notetaker:
    1. Typically, notetakers are students enrolled in the same class as the ARC student with whom they are share notes. Enter your semester schedule by searching for courses using the instructions below.<\/li>
    2. Select the term (e.g. 2020 \u2013 Spring)<\/li>
    3. Enter the course registration number (e.g. 24647)<\/li>
    4. Click on the \u201cContinue to Verify Your Classes\u201d button<\/li>
    5. Select the appropriate class from the results of your search, verify your enrollment and click on \u201csubmit.\u201d<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      What happens next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      If you are selected for an assignment (i.e. matched with a student in your class who requires a notetaking accommodation), you will receive an email from ARC. Please confirm acceptance of the assignment<\/strong> by responding to ARC in one of two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Choose \u201cI agree to take notes in this class\u201d in the email.<\/li>
      2. Or log in to ARConnect and choose \u201cConfirm my assignment\u201d under the Notetaker tab shown in the top menu bar.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
