Volunteer Notetakers provide notes for ARC students with disabilities who are approved for notetaking accommodations. This ensures equal access to class information. Thank You<\/strong> for applying to be a notetaker for a student registered with the Accessibility Resource Center (ARC). Your service is greatly appreciated by both the student receiving notes as well as ARC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*A notetaking accommodation is not a substitute for a student\u2019s class attendance.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Process for Notetakers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Complete the online application<\/a> (you will be asked to enter your PantherID and password).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Complete the\u00a0online orientation and quiz.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Request a notetaking assignment in ARConnect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes must be uploaded through ARConnect in an electronic format (e.g. Word Doc or PDF) through ARConnect within 24 hours of the completion of a class in order to receive volunteer credit.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
