Some faculty members direct fun\u200bded team projects involving graduate students, while in other cases, students define their own independent projects and seek individual funding opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Anthropology Department collaborates with the Milwaukee Public Museum each spring to support an internship for students enrolled in the Museum Studies Program. The Department also awards two summer research grants competitively to outstanding students in the preliminary stages of doctoral study.
