Although they are worth \u201clow points,\u201d they can help you check student grasp of higher-level concepts or lower-level knowledge.\u00a0 Student learning, confusion, and disengagement will become evident much earlier and inform your teaching before higher stakes assessments weigh students down. Infused with the HIPs Elements, these quick low stake assessments can become fun, relevant, and pivotal gems that will\u00a0 increase student success and signal confusion or disengagement.
