When you are ready, click the <strong>\u201cJoin Self-Paced TA Orientation\u201d<\/strong> button to begin. Each session is designed to give TAs timely, practical tools for the semester ahead. This session provides time-saving strategies and tools to make grading more efficient, consistent, and fair for both TAs and students. You\u2019ll learn how to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use <strong>Canvas rubrics<\/strong> to streamline evaluation and provide clear feedback.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply <strong>SpeedGrader tips<\/strong> to manage large volumes of student work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Balance grading with your own workload using practical <strong>time management strategies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Academic Success Center<\/strong> will also join us to explain the <strong>academic progress report process<\/strong> and how TAs play a role in supporting student success. In this session, you\u2019ll explore how to provide <strong>constructive, meaningful feedback<\/strong> that motivates students and deepens learning.
