Campus Cares is a campus wide initiative guided around strategically building and analyzing systems through relationships, collaborations, and connections; identifying gaps and strengths in the work and physical campus; and developing solutions that can help advance towards the Campus Cares&nbsp;framework&nbsp;and&nbsp;vision. Model life-long learning to your students by taking advantage of CASL to improve your teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-course-materials\"><strong>Course Materials<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Increase&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/arc\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/arc\/\">accessibility<\/a>&nbsp;of course materials. Providing multiple ways to access class materials and reduce textbook costs lead to improved student success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-course-reserve\"><strong>Course Reserve<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please consider putting a copy of your textbook and other course materials on Course Reserve. See the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/libraries\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/libraries\/\">51ÁÔÆæ Libraries Equipment and Reserve Services<\/a>&nbsp;for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dean-of-students\"><strong>Dean of Students<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dean of Students offers consulting, training, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/deanofstudents\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/deanofstudents\/\">assistance to faculty and staff<\/a>&nbsp;on student-related issues, including&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/deanofstudents\/supportu-workshop\/\">Support U workshops<\/a>. To consult with the Dean of Students Office, use the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/deanofstudents\/reporting-concerns\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/deanofstudents\/reporting-concerns\/\">incident reporting form<\/a>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:dos@uwm.edu\">dos@uwm.edu<\/a>&nbsp;or 414-229-4632.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-trauma-informed-care-toolkit-and-workshops\"><strong>Trauma Informed Care Toolkit and Workshops<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Campus Cares team has developed trauma-informed teaching&nbsp;and&nbsp;supervision toolkits. These Toolkits utilize resources from the national higher education community as well as materials developed here at 51ÁÔÆæ. They will help instructors gain awareness of how trauma can impact students (what to look for) and how to respond. These same lessons can also help faculty and staff interact with their colleagues who may be feeling stress, distress, and perhaps trauma. You can also&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=w3rKC7b8_U6J623pdgPPIdyMxG-6GEJJqdTqonCaCWtUQ1paWEFMU0kwWk5EWksxQjFLN0oxWFJYRC4u\">request workshops and information<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-uwm-police-department\"><strong>51ÁÔÆæ Police Department<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For emergencies or immediate assistance, call 414-229-9911 or 9-911 from a campus phone.
